Notes:

  • All activities below are covered on an amateur/non-professional basis.
  • If you intend to participate in any sport or leisure activity you must ensure that your usual treating G.P. is happy for you to do so.
  • Activities are covered providing they do not contravene any local warning or safety guidelines.
  • Where applicable you must use the appropriate and recommended safety equipment. This would include the use of safety helmets, life jackets, safety goggles and protective clothing where appropriate.
  • Sports equipment or sports clothing is not covered whilst in use.

When you purchase an additional Activity Pack, all activities in previous Activity Packs are also included. For example, purchasing Activity Pack 3 would cover you for the activities in Activity Packs 1, 2 and 3.

Activity Pack 2 – Additional Premium Required

Activity Pack 2 includes all activities listed in Activity Pack 1, plus the following:

  • Blokarting
  • Dune/wadi buggying/bashing (As a passenger with a licensed operator)
  • Dune sliding
  • Gorilla trekking (Licensed tour operator and under supervision of qualified instructor/guide)
  • High diving (Up to 10 metres, excluding cliff diving)
  • Ice go karting (Under supervision of licensed operator. No cover for personal accident or personal liability)
  • Mud buggying
  • Parasailing/parascending (Over land. Under supervision of licensed operator)
  • Roller hockey
  • Triathlon

Activity Pack 3 – Additional Premium Required

Activity Pack 3 includes all activities listed in Activity Packs 1 & 2, plus the following:

  • Cycling (Racing)
  • Elephant polo
  • Grass/land skiing
  • Judo (Organised training, No competitions)
  • Karate (Organised training, No competitions)
  • Ostrich riding/racing (Under supervision of licensed operator. No cover for personal accident or personal liability)
  • Paddle boarding – white water (Up to grade 3 rivers)
  • Polo cross
  • Tall ship sailing (No racing)

Activity Pack 4 – Additional Premium Required

Activity Pack 4 includes all activities listed in Activity Packs 1, 2 & 3, plus the following:

  • Bungee jumping/swoop (Multiple jumps. Under supervision of qualified instructor or guide)
  • Caving/pot holing (Under supervision of qualified instructor or guide)
  • Parapenting/paraponting
  • Street luge
  • Via Ferrata

Winter Sports Cover

This cover is automatically included on Annual Multi Trip Premier Plus. It is available as an option on Single trip Premier and Premier Plus and Annual Multi Trip Premier.

If you intend to participate in any winter sports activity you must ensure that:

• Your usual treating G.P. is happy for you to do so;
• You follow the safety guidelines for the activity concerned.
• Where applicable use the appropriate and recommended safety equipment.

Under Winter Sports Cover, you are insured to participate in the following activities:

  • Biathlon
  • Cross country/big foot skiing (If off-piste or not on recognised paths must be accompanied by qualified guide and in areas that local resort management consider to be safe)
  • Dry slope skiing
  • Glacier walking (Accompanied by qualified guide)
  • Husky sledge driving/passenger (No racing or mushing. No personal liability cover)
  • Ice skating
  • Ice windsurfing (No cover for personal liability)
  • Indoor skiing/snowboarding
  • Kick sledging
  • Ski biking/ski-dooing
  • Skiing/mono-skiing/skiboarding (If off-piste must be accompanied by qualified guide and in areas that local resort management consider to be safe)
  • Ski run walking
  • Sledging (Including sledging as a passenger pulled by horse, dog or reindeer)
  • Sleigh rides as a passenger
  • Snow biking/go karting (No cover for personal liability)
  • Snow blading
  • Snow boarding (If off-piste must be accompanied by qualified guide and in areas that local resort management consider to be safe)
  • Snow bobbing
  • Snow mobiling/scooting (Guided tours only. No personal liability)
  • Snow shoe walking
  • Snow tubing

  • Winter walking (Using crampons and ice picks only. Up to 3,000 metres altitude).

There is no cover for;

  • Activities not listed.
  • Participating in the activity as a professional
  • Activities undertaken against local warning or safety guidelines. Note: you must use the appropriate and recommended safety equipment. This would include the use of safety helmets, life jackets, safety goggles and protective clothing where appropriate.
  • Winter sports activities involving ice climbing, ski acrobatics, ski flying, skiing against local authority or resort management warning or advice, ski-stunting, ski jumping, ski mountaineering, or the use of bobsleighs, luges, bungees or skeletons.
