If something’s gone wrong and you need to make a claim, don’t worry – we’ve tried to make it as simple as possible.

When do I notify you?
The notification must be made within 31 days or as soon as possible thereafter following any bodily injury, illness, incident, event, redundancy or the discovery of any loss or damage which may give rise to a claim under this policy.
When will my claim be settled?
You can usually expect to receive one of the following within 5 working days of us receiving your completed claim form:
- A cheque to cover your claim.
- A request for more information and why we need it.
- An explanation of why your claim is not covered under the terms of the policy.

Gadget Cover (Section 18)
In the unfortunate event that you need to make a claim, you should contact Direct Group, the claims administrator for Gadget Cover. Please contact them as soon as reasonably possible (but ideally within 48 hours) from discovery of the incident (or in the event of an incident occurring outside of the United Kingdom, on returning to the United Kingdom).
